The First Trimester
It will all start with some unsure changes taking place that will have you rattled and uneasy especially if getting pregnant was not part of the plan. This will see you do a whole lot of research to find out about the minor discomforts you have in the pelvic area and those on-off period cramps. Well, truth is you may not know you are pregnant until you do a test, and chances are you may not believe the results until you either get or miss your periods.
The expectations of undergoing new changes will both be and exciting and worrying thing if you have accepted that you are going to have a baby. Do not fret though; it will be another 3 or so months before you actually have any visible signs of being pregnant. The good thing is you will not have to suck in your tummy anymore for the pregnancy will be a perfect excuse.
There will be instances when you will have some rather unpleasant morning. Puking may occur, just hope that you are not among the women who have to go through such a thing. Your boobs will grow a size larger occasioned with slight painful tenderness to the touch. Then the raging hormones people around will definitely get a piece of you if they cross you the bad way. Things will be taking a new turn as they unravel all through this trimester so just hold your breath and take it as it comes.
The Second Trimester
You will be expecting to have a bigger belly than what you will have at this point of the pregnancy, but that belly will come in due course. Things will have you a bit on the edge especially the raging hormones. Even your hubby will not like you during your pregnancy because the slightest of things will get on your nerves in a big way.
Talk about a good thing in all this and it will be your sexual drive. You will have a higher appetite and longing for sex. You may even have the most amazing moments of it in your dreams. Just go with it and enjoy while it lasts. Do not be afraid to do it as you want on the premise that you have a baby in your belly. In the initial session of this trimester, the formation is still in its early stage of the pregnancy before it completely looks like a human baby. You may get to know the sex of your baby towards the end of this trimester. And if you do fill something kick or move in there, it probably might just be gas.
The Last Trimester
This the trimester that should be the final wakeup call for you to put things in order for the baby that is on its way. Though you are expected to have started saving money from the time you discovered that you were pregnant, at least start saving money from the start of this trimester. It is a trimester that will see your pre-natal attendant seem to be like that close nagging relative, with all the poking, testing, and strict advice on what you should and should not do in the few remaining months of your pregnancy.
Your body will be on fifth gear, taking in various changes. Those extra pounds will seem to have a liking for you so expect some stretchmarks here and there. Forget trying out the various stretchmark removal creams since the marks will probably keep appearing. Nevertheless, this is the one time in your life that your skin has a glowing look that will make you wish it remains for the years to come. Well this is just due to all the sweating you will be experiencing and that oily texture due to the hormones.
On the flip side, you really should start considering taking up some frequent exercise in their trimester, especially if you were a couch-potato over the past two trimesters. Fail to exercise and get ready to dance the music (in stilettoes) if you catch my drift.
Those raging hormones will be in full gear during this stage. You will want a piece of everyone who rubs you the wrong way. At times, you will just want some alone time, some silence. Sex will be the last thing on your mind as the baby takes a few exciting tumbles in there. You will fall in love with the ultrasound images of your baby. This should be an ideal time to calm things down with shopping for some toys and baby clothes.
Towards the end of this stage of the pregnancy the baby will start talking to you, suggesting the time is near. Plans of giving birth should already be set by such a time.
You will curse the one guy responsible for doing this to you. You will wish the earth opens up and swallows your alive if it means not undergoing the agony of bringing that baby in you into this world. Well lets just say that wanting to die will be at the top of the list. You will be running the finally taking the last quick steps of the long, physical, and emotional roller-coaster that was the journey or your pregnancy. The joy of finally holding your baby in your arm will quickly fade away that painfully agonizing experience.
